I went to the dr at premier walk in clinic on tuesday 11/21/23 due to swelling, redness, and tenderness in one of my legs. I had cellulitis, last year, really bad, and was hospitalized for 5 days. Pretty sure I had sepsis symptoms, from what I heard, when I first went to the sango er.
Anyway, this time, the dr at walk in told me that she didnt know if it was blood clots, an infection, or a blockage but she couldnt get me in till 12/12/23 for an ultrasound and went ahead and gave me an antibiotic, in case it is an infection. She did tell me to go to the hospital if it got worse because they could do tests stat.
Well guess what...my leg has since gotten worse so I went to the er on 11/22 around 8 pm or so and saw a dr. He told me that there was no one there to do an ultrasound but wanted me to come back at 7 am on the 23rd to have it done. He stated that he was going to have them give me an extra antibiotic to take, a blood thinner shot, and that would help me till I could come get the ultrasound done. So, I was given 3 antibiotic pills and a blood thinner shot and thats all. He said that if its a blood clot that the shot should take care of it and if not and its an infection, he would most likely admit me upon the ultrasound results. I was told by staff that took my vitals and all to come to the er at 7 am. I show up at 6: 50 am, walk into the er where the same black lady from the night before sat at the desk. I told her why I was there. She said you need to go on up the hall to outpatient. I told her what I was told last night. 5 minutes later, she goes into the back area, comes back out and says, they said you are supposed to go to the outpatient department, on down in the parking lot. I asked, can you call them and let them know I'm on my way because I was told to be here at 7 am. She said to me, "I don't have a phone" Really?! You don't have a phone. How do you do your job with no phone. I get over to the main entrance, walk in and there is no one anywhere, working, lights are off. I call the hospital to the switchboard and ask her if she knows whats going on. She tells me to go past the registration area and look to my left, go in there and have a seat and that someone will be with me soon. I walked over there and the door is locked. I tell her this. A few times she says hang on and then she comes back and says no one is scheduled for today to do ultrasounds. She kept saying mri and I had already told her at least 3 times its an ultrasound.
I left out and called the er and gave them a piece of my mind because what they did to me was inhumane and *** The lady I was talking to tried to act like she was sympathetic but she didnt care either. She asked me if I wanted to leave a message on voicemail with her boss and she would get back to me. I said no, because she isnt there either in which she admitted. I was so angry to be treated this way. She said, I'm gonna end this call because you are not going to yell at me. I let it go but I didnt realize that I was yelling. Anyway, they are the most unprofessional, uncaring, inept, bunch of people and I paid 50.00 on my visit to the er but they can kiss my *** because I'm not paying a penny more to them nor the dr. They knew damn well that they were feeding me *** when they told me to come back at 7 am this morning for an ultrasound and the black lady at the er knew damn well that no one was at the main entrance working which is why she didnt want to call them. They just wanted to get rid of me. YOU WILL HAVE A LAWSUIT ON YOUR HANDS IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO ME DUE TO YOUR STUPIDITY!

I was kicked out of your hospital At Newport medical center by Mary Christian All because not like me and was not only passing blood rectally but also vomiting blood my potassium and magnesium were low and she said that everything was fine and to get me out of there . The previous nurse practitioner less than an hour prior had moved up my pain meds by one hour because she was so concerned but all of the sudden I was told to jerk my line out and "get me Out of there "she was so unprofessional And did not paper me down from my pain Mads she went from 2 mg of dilodid gave me 3 Percocet set 7.5 to go home with I could not tell you the pain I am suffering.
Please I beg of you to do something about this nurse practitioner she should not be handling patients she has no bedside manner and she makes decisions based on her emotions not based on fact. And I do have proof of all of this.
Preferred solution: Apology

I was referred to Tennova by my specialist if I had issues ( I had a CAT which revealed 5 kidney stones.) We thought they may all pass without issue. A few months later I developed an issue and was referred by a PA to have an ultrasound done to see if the stone was causing issues.
I went to Tennova and explained to the nurse taking the information that I had been to a specialist in Nashville several months ago and a PA that day in Clarksville and they felt as though I needed an ultrasound at the emergency room.
Long story short....lots of tests were run (including a CAT scan, blood work, urine, and chest x-ray)...I told them I did not need a chest x-ray but they told me the doctor said I did need it so I said ok. When they called me in for a CAT scan I told them I was told I needed an ultrasound but she said they do not do ultrasounds there. When it was all over the doctor (1st time I saw him) sat next to me in the hallway and told me everything looked good, I was possibly constipated. I looked at him and said..."what about the kidney stone??" He literally looked at me like a deer in headlights.
He had NO idea why I was there. I was in shock.....I told him why I was there, he literally had no idea.
I was released....I owe somewhere around 9,000 AFTER my insurance because I had not met my 6,000 deductible. I am so frustrated...and will be paying this bill for months and months to come...along with my regular medical insurance bill.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Don't go.....

Nurse Practitioner Rice, Kimberly at the Tennova Healthcare Emergency room was very rude. When I arrived to the er I came in with a lot of symptoms due to being 11 weeks pregnant with Hyperemesis gravidarum .
I had been to the er before due to it as well. My symptoms were worse this time than the first but had been struggling with this since about 5-6 weeks pregnant. I struggled to breath, threw up 15 times that night, almost passed out on several occasions and they had given me a wheelchair (which was helpful), I couldnt keep liquids down, could barely eat a basic snakes day . When it came time for Kimberly to talk to me about my test results, she saw I was in a wheelchair and wouldnt come help me and instead stood there and made me walk to her.
When I went back she only talked to me for a total of 20 seconds. She said my results came back fine and then prescribed me meds. I had then asked her because of my condition and not being able to take care of my of their was anything she could do with the Red Cross to help my husband come home. She didnt even let me explain anything before interrupting me and saying what do you want me to do about it.
She then said in a rude voice that she wouldnt do it because it want life or death. She never even knew what was going on with me truly because she interrupted me and was rude. I couldnt even tell her anything and because she was so rude to me I cried and instead of saying she was sorry or hope that I got better she walked out of the room and didnt say a word. She never even asked how I was feeling physically and if I felt any better or anything.
I left the hospital feeling as *** as I did going in.
I never got to explain anything to her and why I was wanting to see about having him come home. with her
